Ophelia von Jampol is not a German Shepherd but she owes her life to Honey and Candy, both German Shepherds. We had a volunteer at one of the L.A.shelters picking up the girls. One of the kennel people had something in his hand, at first the volunteer thought it was a rag, but looked more closely, it was a tiny kitten. He was all ready to take the kitten in the back to euthanize because she was too tiny to keep without a mother. Ophelia is around 6 weeks old now and eating formula and kitten food on her own. In several weeks she will be ready for her forever home. She has lots of personality and spunk. We don’t profess to know a lot about cats, but she looks a lot like a Maine Coon kitten to us. Ophelia is too cute for words!!
